RECYCLINET

Privacy policy

The data RECYCLINET actually processes today, and nothing more.

What this page covers

This text describes how the site works today, not how it is meant to work later. It will change as the service does, and the update date below will follow.

Browsing the public pages — home, how it works, why PET, the material catalogue — requires no account and sets no tracker.

Data collected

No personal data is collected until you create an account.

When you create an account

  • Your email address, which identifies you and receives the confirmation message.
  • Your password, never stored in clear text: it is handed to the authentication provider, which keeps only a hash.

In your profile, if you fill them in

  • Your name.
  • Your phone number.
  • Your preferred language, so the site comes back in the right one.

Name, phone and language are optional. An account works without them.

What they are used for

  • Authenticating you and keeping your session open.
  • Sending you account messages: sign-up confirmation, password reset.
  • Showing the site in the language you chose.

Your data is not sold, rented, or passed to an advertiser. RECYCLINET runs no targeted advertising.

Cookies

The site sets only the cookies your session needs: without them you would be logged out on every page. They are set over HTTPS only.

No audience-measurement cookie, no advertising cookie, no third-party tracker. That is why this site shows you no consent banner: it has nothing to ask you to accept.

How long data is kept

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists.

No specific duration is stated here, because no automatic deletion is in place today. Announcing a deadline that nothing enforces would be an empty commitment. This section will be made precise once such a mechanism exists.

Your rights

You can view and change your name, phone and language from your profile, once the signed-in areas are open to you.

For anything else — access, correction, deletion, objection — the contact address is in the legal notice. It will be published there together with the publisher’s full identity.

What this page does not say yet

The identity of the data controller, any data protection officer, and registration details are not published yet.

They are missing because they are not final, not because they are withheld. They will appear here and in the legal notice as soon as they are.
